Tyntesfield House

I took the day off today and went to Tyntesfield House - an excellent property and well worth a visit if you're nearby.

It's not a shiny, clean, pristine type of house - lots of damp patches, worn out old stuff, rooms full of items yet to be sorted. It's an ongoing project and different rooms get opened at different times so I guess every visit will be different (please excuse the use of the word different four times in one sentence - I'm tired!).

The day started off with some fairly good clouds and then the sun came out and it was blue sky and sunshine for the rest of the day - excellent!
