Altes Technisches Rathaus

Old Technical Town Hall. Completed in 1929, the structure was the first high-rise in Munich. It has 12 stories, is 45 metres high and houses the city administration's department of civil engineering. For most Münchner's it is simply Das Hochhaus (meaning THE high-rise), even though there are more and much higher buildings in Munich nowadays.
