Winter storm finally comes

The much-vaunted winter spring early summer storm did arrive, and with it close to 15cm of snow. Nothing says “I love spring” like a good dose of snow. Thankfully, it was mixed in with rain and the temperatures remained quite pleasant once it stopped, so it’ll be gone before I finish this sentence.
 
Mrs Ottawacker is still at her conference – having got in at 22:10 last night, she was out at 6 this morning. Only one more day to go.
 
Ottawacker Jr’s soccer cancelled because it was outdoors and it’s Ottawa in April. So, I cooked dinner, we read a bit of Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book together, which has the longest chapters in the world, and then ended the evening watching the Ligue 1 highlights on TV5.
