Beginnings

One of our hanging baskets breaks into bloom at last. It's a month late because of the grotty spring and has yet to reach its peak - see the fuchsia buds top right - but it brings joy to that corner of the house; as does the sparrows nest ten feet above it, where they spend all daylight hours feeding their (also late) chicks.
