History and Books

The perfect combination for me and the teenager today. We both love history and books so today we went on the library tour at Gloucester cathedral. It was really interesting.

I loved the smell of old books and history. I love reformation history, and have a masters degree in Theology (that I’ve stupidly never used!). This was amazing for me.

I impressed the teenager by being able to read and understand the Greek bible. I don’t think she actually believed me when I said I’d studied Greek and Hebrew.

It’s reignited my passion for reformation history today. I have been looking at open university courses. I can’t actually afford them and I don’t have the time but it’s nice to have a dream again.
