Burgh Island Hotel

The magnificent "Great White Palace" of an hotel on a tidal island in Devon, built in 1929 by Archibald Nettlefold and restored in 1985 by Tony Porter. An art deco riot, it made a suitably OTT setting for our 25th wedding anniversary celebrations. The ever-lovely Mrs F was effervescently resplendent in her navy & eau-de-nile bias cut evening gown
