His duties are never ending. He was keeping a close eye on me as I was preparing to head off to the farm shop but decided he needed to focus on protecting Ruby and Mrs Smith who were doing some planting in the garden. I rewarded him later with freshly cooked chicken, rice and veg.

I also sat in the garage this afternoon cycling virtually through France as the storm raged outside.
