Spring Blossom
Mum always used to say that as soon as the Cherry Blossom opened the wind would arrive and blow it all away. Well, today she was right. A mild 16 degrees brought out the blossom, and then Storm Kathleen arrived!
Spent most of the day in the garden mowing the lawns, tidying up the patios, potting up plants and digging out/sorting out plants in the cold frame. Today’s hoolie has been great for drying the washing but it was so windy that two pairs of trousers were blown straight off the line, landed in the mucky bird bath and needed washing all over again. Supermarket order arrived with my three bunches of flowers but, as they were all a bit squashed, the kind delivery man let me have them all for free!
Thank you for all your kind stars for yesterday’s blip, Bath is full of picturesque back streets as well as its well-known far grander architecture.
