Otley

Alice B. has been a great nurse this week and today she drove me to the minor injuries unit at Wharfedale Hospital, Otley.

Todays blip is of the high water of the River Wharfe from Otley Bridge.

After a 90 min wait I was wheeled through, then off to Radiography for a couple of x-rays which showed a Weber A fracture of the lateral malleolus. I returned home with a black boot that I will wear for 4-6 weeks; the boot is great as it does allow me to put weight on my right foot and shuffle about. Unfortunately, completion of my 100 swim challenge is on hold, Im stalled on 95 until late May.
