I love making something that I need , out of what I’ve got , rather than buying new… if I can.
We needed more shade in the seating area of the garden for Vic. Some of the medication he is on makes his skin very sensitive to the sun.
I managed to find a second garden umbrella to go into a stand I bought for £2 last year at Re Users. Drilled a hole in the third hand table,.. made a waterproof cover.. and voila!! A wind proof umbrella stand!
