Fronds

We finally got around to repotting our Bamboo Palm which was getting so tall it was beyond a joke. This frond wasn’t the biggest! Took us forever to free it from its pot and even longer to saw the rootball in half and trim it down to a reasonable size. The whole exercise needed secateurs, a hammer, chisel, crowbar and multiple saws before we had something small enough to pot up again. S grew the palm from a seedling and it’s been enjoying our company for around 35 years so hopefully it’ll get over its shock, forgive us and recover well.
As a by-product I have a dozen new bamboo canes for the allotment!
Almost forgot - we have a new router and a working phone line. Hallelujah!
