Eggs gone wild...

Love
My mom wanted to go for a walk so I let her know it was 48 F / 8.9 C outside with a slight breeze and drizzle. She wanted to go for a walk. So I put her shoes on, put the foot braces on the wheelchair, put the leg brace on to protect her legs, put her jacket on, put her hat on, put a blanket on her legs to help keep her warm and then we went outside. She said “man it’s cold outside – let’s go left” So we went left. We walked about 10 minutes before the drizzle turned to a light rain and she said “we should go home before the rain gets worse”, so we did and then the reverse happened – with things taken off and put away..

She wanted to play Yahtzee so we tried. She couldn’t remember how to play, that she had to roll the dice, she had to put a score in a certain place and… she couldn’t remember a lot of other things this day either. Quite a few questions over and over again – answered again and again..  We did go over many photos that helped jogged a memory here and there. She was also very happy I refilled the “chocolate” drawer for her. By the time I was ready to leave, she was her typical combative self… Wanted a car ride, go home, go down stairs, said she could drive and..  walking away is the only thing I could do despite how much that sucked..

She did remember who I was though..
