Sports Day

For children#2&3

Child#3 did not partake in his race. Not entirely sure why. I did ask, and he said "I didn't hear them calling". Then he paused slightly and said 'perhaps I didn't listen'
As recompense, he had to run twice in the relay. By run, I mean it was more of a stroll, taking in the scenery and spectators as he went.

Then child#2 had her 3 legged race ('it's not a 3 legged race, we have 4 legs but we are using two at the same time') then her relay. Then the relay replay, because for some reason putting 4 girls at one end of the field and another, different 4 girls from the same team at the other end of the field and them running from one end to the other didn't seem the obvious way to organise the race. Either time.
