Beaming Down

I have to make a decision about my air conditioning. The engineers who came a week last Tuesday have reported that the brand new compressor is broken, leaking and generally fubar. And the controller too, it seems. Very poor quality Chinese equipment and they would not touch it with the proverbial barge pole.

So do I recommence my 18-month-long battle with the manufacturer and try to get if fixed/replaced yet again, or bite the bullet and replace it with something reliable, guaranteed and local?

No brainer, I think.
