It was such an idyllic scene watching this punt gently making its way through the Botanic Gardens in Christchurch.

Our clocks moved back an hour overnight and today celebrated the end of daylight saving without a cloud in the sky and warm temperatures - a beautiful autumn day from start to finish.

The extra shows the memorial wall to those who lost their lives in the Christchurch earthquakes, a stylised sculpture in the Botanic Gardens and a punt waiting for customers at the Antigua Boat Sheds.
