into the woods

I've spent the day working on a Garden Club photo project and smiling. It's been horribly humid and sultry with tornado warnings in the northern part of the state. I just took a stroll into the woods to look for the little fledged wren family. I heard their songs and racket, but no sign of the tiny tailed brown speckled scamps.

This shot makes me wish for Bethanne's fancy photo editing programs, but I'll just give it to you from iphoto with the bit of fiddling possible.
