Northern Wheatear

A walk on the cliffs and beach near Skara Brae. Still very windy here, though not from the direction that would produce big waves on the Bay of Skaill. Looking for spring migrants and I got my first wheatear of the year. Hard to shoot in the wind and this shot is very cropped. There was another further along the shore. My first of 2023 was on the 7th and last year it was on the 4th.
