Cowslips and Milkmaids

Very windy walk this morning. Over to the garden centre for a packet of rose food and coffee and cake.
Back home for lunch then a swift second coat of anti foul on the centre plate followed by two hours with the lawn scarifier. Despite being electric it is quite a lot of work and it doesn’t pick up the moss, just throws it in the air for the wind to blow hither and yon. So it needs the mower running over the lawn to pick it up. Reckon we have raked out close on a cubic metre of moss and thatch. Plenty more to do - almost as much again as we’ve already done.
