The rain stopped at 10am, just as we were about to start our petanque session, and started again this afternoon after we'd finished. It has been pretty apocalyptic ever since...

Who'd a thunk it? In the midst of Storm Kathleen we had some really good games - and though it was breezy it was quite warm ( bearing in mind that everything is relative, Albert )!

We've dialled back expectations again - not thinking about the possibility of shorts and t-shirts; not even contemplating trakkies and a fleece... now we're just hoping for a time when we don't need to wear a woolly hat ;)
