King George V

A liitle explore along the river after a day out having Sunday lunch with some of the family. This is the memorial gate to the King George's Field open space in Wetherby next to the Wharfe. Apparently there are several hundred of these fields around the country and they all have one of these memorial gates. The design is specified and each pillar has a panel designed by George Kruger Gray.
