Standing out

Change of plan today. We did a walk this morning that took us to a number of standing stones. Don’t think I have ever seen so many stone circles in such a small area. The sun was out, it was dry and the wind was strong but not too bad. We then decided to visit a bistro further along the road for lunch and look around a couple of shops. Interestingly one was a shoe shop, on the west coast of Arran selling quite unusual boots and shoes, the other sold clothes. I bought a new casual jacket.
Walk along the beach and to our site for tonight.
Lovely site owner came out to greet us and tell us where everything was.

Such a lovely day and a great area of the island.
Hoping the weather is good tomorrow as we are planning to walk up the highest mountain on the island.
