Vintage
Firstly thank you so much for the lovely comments and stars for yesterdays shot here, and a very belated thank you for the response to my hands shot. It does make it all seem worthwhile!
Decided to get out and about this morning - there were a few things going on locally but we chose to go to Horbury Show. It's years since I went even though it's just out of town, and the park is opposite the secondary school I used to go to. In fact we spent many a lunchtime there, sunning ourselves!
It was really good, loads going on for everybody. and I spent a small fortune on tombolas, inflatable rides etc.
There were a lot of vintage cars and bikes there, some of which were gorgeous. This is a 1937 Packard, made for the British market - alongside two US ones. They were beautiful and the owner let Lottie sit in the back of this one, hence my knowledge of the car.
Did get a few shots of a Spitfire that did a fly past but couldn't get it in focus fast enough to get anything decent.
Spent the rest of the day in the garden although our planned barbecue was a bit windswept and not as warm as we had hoped.
