Morning walk

This morning it took us 1 hour 40 minutes  to climb the 5.5km track to the summit of the Christchurch Adventure  Park. It is a tough uphill walk but well worth the views and the lovely chairlift ride back to the bottom. The area was quite badly affected for the second time by a large fire in February. This is such a shame as everything was regrowing beautifully after the huge fire in 2017. The photos show the large brown areas which were affected.
