Morning Rays

This is the first day of July - Canada Day, celebrating 146 years. We spent the day in two provinces, Saskatchewan and Alberta. We returned from a family reunion in Saskatchewan and left for home early enough to see the dawning of a new day - the first rays of sunshine behind the clouds, a gorgeous sunrise. It was nearly midday when we passed through Lloydminster, Canada's only border city which I blipped about en route to Saskatchewan, June 29 . The border is marked with 4 red structures - see photos of the border - A River Border Runs Through It.
The weather was fabulous for the reunion, and it remains so today. Happy Canada Day, one and all!
