Doh!

Once home, we realised a cat had accidentally been locked in our bedroom all weekend and wee’ed on our duvet. We swapped to the thin summer duvet a couple of weeks ago and the ‘spare was still at the laundrette.

We decided as it was the thin one, we could stuff it in the washing machine. Turned out that makes the washing machine flood. Every cloud and all that, my filters are all now lovely and clean.

The picture shows MrRoly sitting on the machine to stop it dancing across the bathroom on it’s empty trial wash. Shortly after this we tried the duvet again and water gushed out if the detergent drawer - so definitely a duvet issue not a machine issue. We really needed to be up until 1.30am faffing with this!!

To top it all off, when MrRoly got up this morning, one of the cars and made a dirty protest in one of the (full) laundry baskets. We’re not sure if it’s the one who got locked in showing his displeasure or the old girl who gets separation anxiety telling us how furious she is that we went away for 2 days!!
