Dung beetle

A quiet walk in the woods behind the house with the spaniel this morning. I was excited to see a Willow Tit as well as Nuthatches and Siskins, all of which I failed to photograph. Instead here's a nice dung beetle (possibly Geotrupes stercorarius) that wandered across our path.
