Solar Eclipse

This evening I watched with Teba the total solar eclipse "Through the Eyes of NASA" (Official Broadcast).
It was very interesting to watch the shadow of the moon moving across the USA. So we had the opportunity to watch the total eclipse several times. It was always very emotional .
I'm happy for everyone who could have this once in a lifetime experience live. In 1999 we travelled 500 km to witness a total eclipse. I still remember it how amazing it was. The upcoming coolness, the wind, the strange light, the darkness , the different sounds, the corona, just everything. We had the advantage, that we were alone in the mountains, without a cheering crowd.The children were very young, Teba was in the infant car seat...(second extra)
The broadcast gave me back this memories and goosebumps :-)
One moment was extra amazing. For a short moment the shadow of the moon was seen from the ISS over Houlton, ME. I added a screenshot. It is just amazing. Have a look here to watch the shadow move across the landscape.
