Covered Bridge # 67
We went to the granite mountain state (New Hampshire) today for a memorial service. We only had sprinkles most of the day, heavy rain came later. On the way home we drove by this covered bridge. It was numbered #67, not the fanciest of bridges. Yet like many things this bridge has a history.
It is the "Packard Hill Bridge" originally built between 1780 and 1790 for Ichabod Packard. It has been rebuilt twice, and this current one was constructed in 1991, the bridge crosses the Mascoma River in Lebanon New Hampshire.
