Another bit of a foodbanky day! Early morning we went across the causeway toPortland to buy tomorrows bread. We then went down to Portland Bill fora walk, but it was still so windy, so didn’t go too far.
This afternoon we went to the supermarket where we have to buy loads of food for the Foodbank - they deliver it to our hub. We are looking to save more money as our finances are not brilliant so trying to compare prices. We know we could save lots by buying food from one of the ‘cheaper’ supermarkets but they can’t deliver and we have to buy so much each week it’s impossible to just go to the store and shop - there is never enough on the shelves and we don’t own a van. So we do what we can and save a bit here and there. Then went down to the foodbank hub to deliver some bits.
