torchlight...

...of beauty

tall and dignified - in the inbetween stage -

not yet flower, not quite bud either... waiting for the full blossom to happen - it stands proud - elegant - an inner glow radiating from within

i was pleased at my discovering this thing of beauty - for usually it's either - or... rarely finding this particular stage - so i couldn't pass it up - was taken by it's subtle, raw grace as i could almost hear the collective holding of breath until the wide opening occurs - all culminating together for that inevitable making of...
