One day at a time

Watching

The rain continues unabated with an inch reported in my observations to the Met Office this morning. By this time tomorrow (the 10th) I think we will have exceeded February's and March's monthly totals which is pretty good going.
The land can't take any more and as this and the extra show it is running straight off.
Another hat I wear is Environment Agency Flood Warden and the Dene Burn (featured here) is the most susceptible to overflowing further down into the village.
It's OK at the moment but I shall have to get soaked a few more times today when I venture out to have a look see.
