Kangaroo Island

6:15am pick up for the 2 hour journey south to Cape Jervis then one hour ferry to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. 

A busy organised tour with too much time on a coach, but we did get to see some incredible scenery and wildlife, and the coach driver gave lots of info and history about the place. Still recovering from devastating fires in 2019/20, a remote resilient island. 

Seal Bay, wildlife sanctuary, Remarkable Rocks, fed a kangaroo, patted a koala!
