Aldeburgh

Today we went to Aldeburgh and then Snape Maltings. This is the sculpture by Maggie Hambling on the beach. Very mixed weather as you can see from the sky. It was very very windy!
We had a nice fish and chip lunch in a renowned chip shop restaurant. Lots of nice shops to browse in too.
We are so surprised there are not more people around and we could park for free in the street for two hours!

We have not been to Snape Maltings for years and were impressed by the concert hall and a variety of shops and galleries. Particularly the ‘early music’ shop which had a wide range of musical instruments to play ‘early’ music … plus a huge range of recorders
