New Pheasant

By this time of the year, our garden has always become the property of one cock pheasant.  He commandeers the ground underneath the bird feeders and marshals as many hens as possible.  Our cock pheasant usually look like this brown one in full twirl.  But this year our resident cock has a beautiful silvery coloured back and tail.  The hens think he is wonderful (so do I!).
