Wet, Wet, Wet

We had heavy rain overnight, and again this morning.  Because I needed to do a grocery shop, I headed out in the rain, and got quite wet for my efforts!  The lake is filling up nicely, and there are lots of Autumn leaves on the ground.  At the moment the sun is trying to shine, but at least it has stopped raining!  The extra is looking at Mt Iron

Two bits of family news.  (1)  Scooby Doo has finished her summer working on the Milford Track and comes out today, via Helicopter then boat across Lake Te Anau.  (2)  We have heard from 'Teen 'H'' her project in Nepal is to build a 'Goat Shed'.  They have put the foundations in, which looks pretty impressive.  Other members of the party are painting a courtyard and concrete fence.

I am now going to light the fire even though it is +20C.
