Resident kereru

A busy day with laundry to take advantage of the amazing weather today. Five loads of laundry thanks to stripped beds and towels. 
This wood pigeon, (kereru) visits our neighbour's cabbage tree,  (ti kouka), almost every afternoon. It is enjoying eating the seeds or flowers and didn't mind me getting close for a photo. 
The sky to the west was looking quite moody late in the afternoon after a very warm day.
