Something of a rare moment here that I should record for posterity: son number two and I working away in silence at the same table. He’s processing photos and planning an article on ‘animals in captivity’ for his university course; I’m fretting about a podcast I’m recording a bit later (obviously he’ll be removed from the room for that).
