No progress

Last Autumn, we managed to get planning permission to add an enclosed porch to the front of the house, and to renew our balcony floor, which developed problems (under warranty). I designed the porch, secured a builder, and agreed a start date of late March, as typically we get good weather at that time of the year.

Still waiting for Spring to really start - he started concreting the foundations while we were in Lofoten, and progress has been almost non-existent since then, through no fault of his. Definitely no bricklaying in this weather - we just need a spell of good weather to get it really underway.
