Thanks to Annakucat's Blip yesterday, I was in time to register for the monthly talk Lindsey Davis does on her Roman detective books. 

 
This was a memory jogger for me – 29 September 2013 the posh new library opened in Birmingham.  Back then Birmingham council had money and the library was spectacular. 
As part of this, because she was a Brummie girl, Lindsey Davis did a talk on her first Flavia Alba book.
 
Here she is signing my copy which is still on my shelf!
