Honorary indoctorination

After a morning at the interface we were off up town for further jollification; a pre-ceremony lunch hosted by Prof Lesley, graduation for the geosciences and mathematicians, and an honorary doctorate for Q. A splendid do altogether.

People are prone to saying that "Edinburgh is a village" which I remembered when I found I recognised not one but two of the geosciences academics, both from very different contexts and whom I'd only seen in clothing very different from academic robes! Then as we got off the bus on the Shore we bumped in to Trev coming out of his work. Of course, Blip is a village too.

I'm not used to this amount of enjoyment. A long sleep is called for.
