Wide Wednesday: Sign

We have spent most of the day in Norwich in a search for some clothes for both of us for a forthcoming holiday and between us we managed to buy one thing; a pop-up food cover from Lakeland, so the day was not an unqualified success.  We did need the food cover though.

Once home I realised we didn't have anything in to eat this evening so popped over to Cley to get one of the rather good restaurant quality frozen pizzas, and on the way passed this sign.  There are a few of them on the roads around here and they are written in the local vernacular.  The image is popular in tourist shops where it appears on mugs, tea towels, mouse mats etc.  In fact, it's so popular that one of the actual road signs disappeared last year, but the Council have replaced it, albeit in a slightly more modern-looking style.
