she doesn't like the woman's day
and she doesn't like the new idea
why dont they have Leunig cartoons instead
in the waiting room
they could put them on a chain
so nobody would steal them
she likes Leunig cartoons
they make her smile
and they touch her heart
cause they are about real life
and the dark side
which is surely why most people end up
at the psychiatrist's office

the woman's day and new idea
are disturbing
they're not about real life at all
the people in them are all photoshopped
and telling lies

she's not so sure about the psychiatrist either
she asked him if he liked his hemp seeds
a gift she had presented him previously
beautifully packed and bursting with nutrition
he said he didn't try them
well where are they she asked
lost in the pantry he said
she suspected he was lying to
just like the magazines
and that in fact
they were lost in the rubbish bin

she thought he was a healer
but he's just a doctor
it's not his fault
it's the system

and as Morpheus said
many of them are so hopelessly dependent on the system
that they will fight to protect it


she told the psychiatrist
that people can and must go beyond the call of duty
and care just that little bit more
outside of 9 to 5
he said no they can't
if one does it everyone else will want it
she said yes they can
and they must
and if everyone did it
the world would change overnight
people would feel more loved
and happier
