First of the Year

Quite early, but here is the first blooming iris.  Lots more to come.

Yesterday evening our lovely book club ladies met up here.  I was this month's hostess.  We had lots of laughs but also some good chat about the book we have just read set in James I time and which was enjoyed by all.
