Today’s rain was forecast to start mid morning.

I needed a few bits of shopping in Windermere so stopped at Millerground on the way for a short walk and blip. The first spots of rain came just as I got back to the car. As I drove back towards Ambleside the hills in the photo were covered by cloud.

Yesterday I heard my first cuckoo of the year and today I spotted my first cuckoo flowers.
