Eid Mubarak

Blessed feast!
Two friends from my craft group were absent today, celebrating Eid with their families .
My journey to my craft group takes me along the Stratford Road , out of the city. It’s primarily a Muslim area with some wonderful shops and great atmosphere.Today all the shops were shut , men were dressed in their white prayer outfits on their way to mosque. I actually felt as if I was missing out in their celebrations! I absolutely love living in such a diverse city, but it is very segmented.
This tiny flower was the only one flowering in a pot from some of last year’s bulbs…. I only found it this afternoon , when I got home…asking to be blipped, showing its delicate beauty.
