Gas & Air

I had to go to the local Minor Injuries Unit today.
A thorn (a BIG thorn) jabbed it to one of my fingers a couple of weeks ago when I was tidying the garden. I pulled it out at the time and thought I had cleaned up ok, but something obviously stayed in there and started causing a fair amount of pain last night.
So a GP referral to MIU to get it looked at. After an x-ray, it was on to the gas and air while the senior nurse practitioner dug in and got it out. Antibiotics and daily dressing changes should hopefully see it ok in the next few days.
