Coronation throne cake

Visited the new Perth Museum which now houses the Stone of Destiny. Amazing museum, many fantastic exhibits. Photos of the Stone are not permitted. So this is one of the exhibits. The 1953 Coronation Cake made of sugar icing, wood, paper, foil This cake was made at the Bilsland Bakery in Glasgow to celebrate the coronation of Elizabeth Il. The Stone of Destiny is shown with a ball and chain, perhaps a reference to the theft of the Stone from Westminster Abbey by Glasgow University students two years earlier.
