Lunch break

We worked hard on our silver clay all day. We made, fired and polished two small charms and worked on a textured pendant. We scoured the beautiful garden to find a leaf that we painted with silver clay paste, seven coats in all. We had to look for a sturdy leaf with good veins and it should be not too big and not too hairy. Someone remarked that it sounded like the ideal man!

There is an hour off at lunch time, so time to explore the gardens in the sunshine. These poppies were in the herb garden not far from the lake.

In the evening I gave them my quiz. The winners got 23 out of 25 so I reckon I judged it about right.
