Wind and Rain

We woke this morning to a howling gale, the shutters were all rattling. Heavy rain as well,. Braved the weather to go down to the supermarket and for a cappuccino and some pastries at the bar.

Lunch at the apartment. Late afternoon the wind and rain seemed to have abated somewhat so we ventured down to the lake for an ice cream and to see what had changed. Despite the weather the ice cream shop was doing good business.

Dinner in the apartment. We watched Father Brown on TV. It seems everybody in the Cotswolds speaks fluent Italian.
