Memories …..

…. of Mum ( on the right) from a long time ago. She looks so joyous in this photo :)

I was in her house ( which belongs to my sister and her husband) for a couple of hours tidying before S and M arrive on Thursday and found this photo. They are staying with us and the plan is to start clearing all the furniture etc out of the house now in preparation for a major renovation.

A lot of folk have asked how I feel about this thinking I’ll be upset but the reality is I’m delighted. Mum will never come back - she’s frailer every day now and it feels a bit like a mausoleum when I go in. I’ll be delighted to see it have a new life.
